The Abilene Arts Alliance works in partnership with the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council to support our cultural community. This is achieved in two important ways. First, the Abilene Arts Alliance serves as the 501c3 arm for donations for cultural affairs council programs. Second, earnings from the Abilene Arts Alliance Endowment support marketing initiatives and special programs that benefit our arts community. The Abilene Arts Alliance board of directors works with the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council staff to carry out the Arts Alliance mission.
The Abilene Arts Alliance partners with Abilene Scene magazine to provide funding to market arts events.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Abilene Arts Alliance is to strengthen the area’s cultural life through strategic investment in its cultural resources; to be an advocate for cultural organizations, activities and initiatives throughout the community; and to ensure the cultural development of young people.
