Located in the Carver neighborhood near the G.V. Daniels Recreation Center, this museum collection is housed in a historic structure that once served as a funeral home to Abilene's Black community. Learn about the Black experience throughout Abilene history through memorabilia and artifacts on exhibit. See Abilene's early leaders, professionals, military men, and the students and teachers from the once segregated school system. Tours available by appointment.
