Experience four days of fun at the 15th Children’s Art + Literacy Festival (CALF) taking place in downtown Abilene Thursday-Saturday and the Abilene Zoo on Sunday! CALF is presented by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council in collaboration with the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature and 17 other venues and arts partners. The festival draws nearly 6,000 people a year from 165 Texas cities and 22 states! The purpose of the festival is to celebrate reading and creativity.
