Friday, September 12th

We’ll kickoff the festival with a Public Reception at Frontier Texas! Come learn about the Harvey Girls, their impact on railroads and how they set the standard for the service industry through a presentation by Marita Richards.

Saturday, September 13th

Festival day will be filled with the main activities, interactive booths, small exhibits from local non-profits, historical presentations, model railroads, live entertainment and much more.

Participating Venues

This years venues include but are not limited to Frontier Texas!, The Grace Museum, the T&P Depot, The Elks Arts Center, and the Abilene Public Library.

Tentative Programming

The ARF Committee is in the process of finalizing various programming and vendors including a Union Pacific locomotive, presentations on local railroads and museum exhibitors.
