Jack and Charley desperately want to propose to their sweethearts and it must be done today or never. However, a suitable female chaperone must be present for 1890’s decorum to be upheld. When Charley’s Aunt fails to appear, Lord Fancourt Babberley steps in to save the day and great comedy ensues. A classic of British Victorian farce.
