Celebrating women who made art history

It was a savvy group of women who began collecting artwork for the future generations of Abilene back in 1937. The Grace Museum’s permanent art collection has now grown to include more than 2,500 pieces, and among them are some excellent works by women artists.

Join us for a FREE event as we kick off Women’s History Month (a few days early) and celebrate some of the most distinguished female artists with pieces in the Museum’s collection! McMurry University art & history students will host interactive stations in the Grace Ballroom highlighting each artist.
