Texas Star Trading Company, 174 Cypress Street downtown, will host several book signings in November for Texas authors.

            --  Julie Kibler, Home for Erring and Outcast Girls, her second novel, Saturday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m. to noon. Kibler is a Hardin-Simmons graduate who lives in Arlington. 

            -- Mark McDonald, Beyond the Big Shootout, reflecting on the 1969 Texas-Arkansas football “game of the century,” Saturday, Nov. 2, noon to 2 p.m. McDonald, formerly of Abilene, now lives in Midland.
