Broadway in Abilene presents "Bandstand," a dance-driven musical set in the early days of post-World War II America. Private First Class Donny Novitski is a singer and songwriter who returns from the war to rebuild his life with only the shirt on his back and a dream in his heart. When NBC announces a competition to find the next big musical star, Donny joins forces with a motley group of fellow veterans to form a band unlike any the nation has ever seen. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
