"Storybook Saturday: Tale as Old As Time"
The Abilene Cultural Affairs Council presents a special morning of music and theater for families at the Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden at the Abilene Convention Center.
10:30 a.m. Garden opens
10:45-11 a.m. ACU Theatre students perform selections from their homecoming musical, “Beauty and the Beast”
11 a.m.-12 p.m. Abilene Philharmonic Instrument Petting Zoo and “Be Our Guest” Conductor
12-12:30 p.m. Abilene Philharmonic featured performer Amit Peled, a John Hopkins University cello professor and world-renowned cellist, will speak and read his children’s book, “A Cello Named Pablo.” Following by book signing.
COST: The fee for Storybook Saturday is $10 per family.
